About the MyEnergi Zappi
The MyEnergi Zappi is one of the most capable and popular EV chargers on the market, and it’s equally well suited to commercial settings. It delivers up to 7.4kW on a single-phase supply and supports smart charging features including load balancing, app-based scheduling and — for businesses with solar panels — solar divert mode, which automatically uses surplus on-site generation to charge vehicles rather than exporting it to the grid.
The Zappi can be integrated with other MyEnergi products and monitored via the myenergi app, giving building managers visibility of charging activity and energy consumption over time.
Installation Overview
We installed the Zappi at the client’s commercial premises on Midland Way, Thornbury, running a dedicated circuit from the distribution board, positioning the charger for easy staff and visitor access, and completing all necessary testing and certification.

OZEV Workplace Charging Grant
This installation qualified for the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), which provides up to £350 per socket (up to 40 sockets) towards the cost of purchasing and installing workplace EV chargers. The scheme is open to businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
