We’re thrilled to share that LA Electrical & Solar has been named Bristol Electrical Company of the Year 2025 at the Business Awards.
When we started out, the aim was straightforward: be the electrician in Bristol that people actually recommend. Over the years that’s grown from domestic repairs and installations into solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charger installations, and EICR testing for landlords — but the principle hasn’t changed. Do the job properly, use good materials, don’t cut corners.
What this award means to us
Awards like this are voted for and assessed by people outside the business, which makes them genuinely meaningful. It’s recognition of the whole team — everyone who turns up, does the work well, and treats customers’ homes with respect. And it’s a reflection of the trust our customers have placed in us, which we don’t take lightly.
What we’ve been up to
Over the past year we’ve helped more homeowners across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset switch to solar, fitted EV chargers for drivers making the move to electric vehicles, carried out electrical safety testing for landlords, and upgraded consumer units in homes where the old fuse board was well past its best. No job is too small if you’re in our area.
